Outgoing Preparation Seminar Winter 2019

Outgoing Preparation Seminar Winter 2019 is conducted by Outgoing Global Volunteer (oGV) department of AIESEC in UKM. It was held in Bilik Seminar 2 at PTSL, Level 2. It is to give an insight to Exchange Participants before they embark on their journey in their respective volunteering countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka. ​ I had the pleasure to be the Organising Committee's Delegate Service. I was in charged of making sure of the attendance of the delegates and creating a booklet to introduce them about this OPS. On the day, I was in charged of delegates' registration, taking pictures of the event and also as a facilitator of 'Just Click: Photography' session. ​ I had to prepare my slides for the session prior to the program. I included tips on photography with just using a smartphone and tips on videography. There was also a hands on session where I had the delegates walk around the PTSL's Level 2 to take photos based on the tips I had given and a sharing session on it. ​ It was tough preparing for this program as we had only 1 week to prepare before the actual date, and I knew I was going to be a facilitator, 3 days before. Nonetheless, I had fun preparing for the program with the team as all of us were cooperative. And, I definitely hope that we left an impact on the Exchange Participants who were soon going for volunteering overseas this coming January 2020.
