YouthSpeak Forum 2.0 by AIESEC in UKM

In December, I was part of the Organising Committee (OC) in Marketing & Tech Support for YouthSpeak Forum (YSF) 2.0 by AIESEC in UKM. It was hosted again due to the success of the first YSF event. As it was during the COVID19 pandemic, we had hosted it via a virtual platform. Below are the details of the event.

Youth Speak Forum powered by AIESEC is an Engagement with AIESEC product run by youth for youth. It is an event that empowers young people to gain understanding on how they can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through short and powerful talks that sparks interest in personal development through skills-building workshops.

Youth is crucial for the future transformation of the nation and global. According to survey, the inner fear of youth is the biggest obstacles that hinder their personal development. The fear can arises consciously or sometimes unconsciously within youth. On the top of that, current pandemic and economic recession has even added the uncertainty of the future and putting youths in a disadvantage situation as it has restricted them to unleash their potential in developing their career and their ability in creating impacts to the community, nation and the world. Therefore, this forum aimed to bring youths a brand new insight on how they perceive fear and uncertainties and how to turn fear into POWER hence taking action for personal breakthrough and create the impacts to society!

As I am apart of Marketing and Tech Support, I had created posters and videos to be posted on our social media page and also constructed emails in order to boost more outreach to the students of UKM and other universities. Below are some of the promotional materials that I had worked on. Not only that, I was the Host for the morning half of the event, I had to welcome the delegates, provide announcements, introduce the speakers and make sure that the event flow is smooth.
